Welcome! My name is Noelle, and I am a pre-licensed mental health therapist in the state of New Hampshire. Throughout my counseling experience, I have enjoyed employing a multifaceted, integrated approach to helping individuals grow in the art of being human. We come to therapy when we want something to change, when something on the inside feels out of tune with life on the outside. I believe that change starts with getting to know yourself—in some ways, perhaps for the first time. It’s learning and working with the language your body and emotions use to process your experiences, to learn and grow, and to signal what matters to you and what doesn’t. It’s befriending each part of what makes you your own individual mentally, emotionally, spiritually (however you personally define that) and physically, discovering what it is that makes you come uniquely alive, and allowing this self-understanding to help answer the questions your life is asking of you, giving way to a clarity and courage that allows you to create a life of purpose, authenticity, and meaningful experiences.

My approach to the therapeutic process is rooted in the integration of somatic and existential techniques. As an existentially oriented therapist, I have faith in every person’s innate capacity to learn to thrive in a challenging and beautiful world. As a somatic therapist, I believe in your body’s innate ability to heal itself from the effects of trauma and other life experiences when given the opportunity. My approach to wellbeing is holistic and includes the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual (however you personally define it) as well as the context of your life within your familial, cultural, gender, and socioeconomic systems. For practical tools and a strengths-based approach, I may integrate Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapies as well. I understand that every individual is just that—an individual, and the therapeutic interventions you are provided with in counseling will be tailored to meet your unique needs. I hold special interest in working on trauma, body image, and with folks experiencing neurodivergence, although I am well-versed in the scope of conditions and issues that lead people to pursue therapy.

From the systemic perspective that trustworthy relationships with others help us build healthy relationships with ourselves, and vice versa, I strive to offer a therapeutic relationship that is genuine, respectful, curious, and compassionate. As your counselor, my hope is for you to feel seen, heard, and valued as we make sense of your struggles and celebrate your successes, ultimately leading to a life experience that is more comfortable and fulfilling.
